Why choose Basecamp or Rocket.Chat?
Basecamp has more add-ons than Rocket.Chat, including graphic personalization and contact management. Both offer roles management, workspace and user activity, chat, file sharing, mentions, groups/channels, and gif and emoji. However, Rocket.Chat offers more features such as voice messages, threads, and integration needed for 1-1 and group video calls. They both lack features such as whiteboarding, screen sharing, audio call, breakout rooms, recording, participant permissions, subtitles and translations, and online document editing.
